Dmitri Svatkovskiy

Dmitri Valeryevich Swatkowski ( born November 27, 1971 in Moscow ) is a Russian modern pentathlete, who started three times at Summer Olympics from 1992 to 2000.

At his first Olympic participation at the Games in Barcelona in 1992, he won the United Team of the Commonwealth of Independent States, a silver medal in the team competition, in the single competition he reached the 18th place. Four years later, at the Games in Atlanta, he was starting for Russia in the individual competition in fourth. At the games in Sydney in 2000 he won the gold medal in the individual competition.

In 1994 and 1995 he was single world champion, in addition, he finished at the World Championships in individual events in 1997 and the second in 1999 and third place in 1997 with the team to third place. In 1997, he was also able to win the European title in single and in the team competition.
