Donald Jerome Driver ( born February 2, 1975 in Houston, Texas ) is an American former American football player at the position of wide receiver. He played for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League ( NFL).

High School and College

He attended Milby High School in Houston. He then received a scholarship from the Alcorn State University, where he played college football. At college, the wide receiver caught 88 passes for 1933 yards and 17 touchdowns space gain.

NFL

Driver was selected in the seventh round by the Green Bay Packers in the NFL Draft in 1999 as 213 players. In his professional career, he was elected three times to the Pro Bowl ( 2002, 2006, 2007). On December 16, 2007 in the game against the St. Louis Rams, Driver caught the ball on the Brett Favre Dan Marino as the record holder replaced in the category passing yards.

On 31 January 2013, was the Mike & Mike show the TV channel ESPN the end of his career as a football player known.

Driver is one of the best wide receiver in the history of the Green Bay Packers and holds several club records.

Private

May 22, 2012 Donald Driver won with the professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd as a partner, the 14th season of Dancing with the Stars, the American version of Strictly Come Dancing. Driver is married to Betina Driver.
