Douglas M. Fraser
Douglas Malcolm Fraser ( born April 16, 1953) is a retired general of the United States Air Force and was dated 25 June 2009 to November 19, 2012 Commander of United States Southern Command ( USSOUTHCOM ). Fraser was the first officer of the American air forces in this office, he was followed by Admiral James G. Stavridis. Previously, he served from April 2008 to June 2009 as Deputy Commander of United States Pacific Command ( USPACOM ).
Education and Career
Fraser graduated from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in 1975, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. 1987 followed by a master's degree from Auburn University in Montgomery.
His U.S. Air Force Aeronautical rating is Command pilot ( over 2700 flight hours ), he flew the pattern F-15A/B/C/D, F -15E and F- 16th
