DragonStrike (video game)

Dragon Strike is a computer game that was developed in 1990 by Westwood Studios and published by SSI Inc.. The game combined elements from role-playing games and flight simulations together. It used 3D polygons to display the landscape and mostly sprites for magic, enemies, etc.

A dragon rider fights in the game against diverse opponents with missions that are distributed to fly on a map. The game itself is based on the world of RPG Systems Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, playing in the known from the Dragonlance saga world Krynn.

As one of the first 3D games (1990 ) was the look and "feel" of that time felt to be very impressive, and the game reached in most computer magazines a good rating. Hartley, Patricia, and Kirk Lesser from the official D & D magazine Dragon forgave her column in The Role of Computers in issue # 161 5 out of 5.
