Drei Gleichen

Three of a kind is a municipality belonging to a county in the Thuringian district of Gotha. It lies between the cities of Erfurt, Gotha and Arnstadt and is named after the castle ensemble of three matches. The municipality was created on January 1, 2009 through the merger of the previously independent municipalities grave life, mill mountain, seamounts and hiking life. To grave life belonged to the merger nor the districts Großrettbach and Cobstädt, which now belong to the municipality Drei Gleichen.

History

Originally administrative matters on 21 May 1992 was founded under the name Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Middle Apfelstädt reason. Until December 30, 1997 included the communities Günthersleben and Wechmar to this administrative community, but resigned on 31 December 1997 through its merger into the new community Günther -Wechmar from. On 22 June 1998 it was renamed in administrative community Drei Gleichen. A day later resigned Schwabhausen out of this management community; Günther -Wechmar was for this community the most fulfilling community. Then took place on January 1, 2009, the merger of the remaining municipalities merged to three of a kind, so that management community was dissolved.

Seat of the municipality is Wandersleben. However, some offices are also established in Miihlberg.
