Dubliany

Dubljany (Ukrainian Дубляни; Russian Дубляны, Polish Dublany ) is located in western Ukraine small town about 7 kilometers northeast of the Oblasthauptstadt Lviv and is today a suburb of Lviv dar. to the borough include the northeast villages lying Mali Pidlisky ( Малі Підліски ) and Sytychiw ( Ситихів )

The town was first mentioned in writing in 1468 and belonged from 1774 to 1918 for Austrian Galicia. 1856 here a well-known Agricultural Academy was founded after the end of the First World War, the city became part of Poland and was occupied during the Second World War only by the Soviet Union and from 1941 to 1944 from Germany.

1910, a station on the railway line today Lviv - Kiwerzi was south of the village opens.

In 1945 Dubljany turn to the Soviet Union, where they became part of the Ukrainian SSR, in 1978 received a city charter and is since 1991 a part of today's Ukraine.
