Eddie Barth

Eddie Barth ( born September 29, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, † 28 May, 2010 Los Angeles, California), Michael Edward actually Bartholetti, was an American actor and voice actor.

Life

Barth began his career in 1963 as an extra in an episode of the Twilight Zone series. Until the late 1960s, he joined occasionally in small roles in television series. He made his feature film debut in 1971 in Woody Allen's Bananas. In the same year he played a small role in the successful Blaxploitationfilm Shaft starring Richard Roundtree. When the film was later adapted into a television series with Roundtree, he received the role of Lt. Al Rossi. Although the series was canceled after only seven episodes, but by this time Barth received guest roles in numerous successful series formats such as The Streets of San Francisco and Kojak - Kojak in the 1970s and Murder, She Wrote and Magnum in the 1980s. The German television audience is expected to be mainly through his portrayal of Myron Fowler in the series Simon & Simon in memory Barth.
