The Eidelstedt the Hamburg S-Bahn station is a transfer hubs in Eidelstedt in the northwest of the city of Hamburg.
History
The station is located at the Altona- Kiel railway was opened in 1844. In 1902 he was awarded a connection to the Altona- Kaltenkirchener Railway ( LFS). With the assignment of this railway line went from 1912, the passenger trains of the AKE Eidelstedt. 1965, the S -Bahn between Holsten Street and Elbgaustraße was recorded and the current station was built. Operation
Eidelstedt is served by trains of the S -Bahn lines S3 and S21 and the AKN - line A1. The S-Bahn lines run in the main and normal traffic each time every ten minutes, the AKN every ten to 20 minutes, so per hour depart runs regularly between about 30 trains from the station.
