The station Hamburg- Langenfelde is a breakpoint at 2.6 kilometer parallel to the railway line Hamburg- Altona- Kiel city rail track between Holsten Street and Pinneberg in Hamburg- Langenfelde. The station opened in 1962 has a central platform to the suburban tracks of the railway lines, parallel to this is a freight railway, which connects the train yard Langenfelde AKN with the main track of the AKN at Hamburg - Eidelstedt station. History

A first station in Langenfelde originated in 1884 with the construction of Altona- Kaltenkirchener railroad.

In 1911/12 the web between Altona and Quickborn was traced out on an embankment, before they went in the street level. After that accounted for the stop in Langenfelde.

The section of the S -Bahn to the Holsten Street station was opened on 22 February 1962. A new railway station was built Langenfelde. Train accident in 1979

On Friday morning of January 26 1979, a train crash in which 22 people were injured occurred in Langenfelde S-Bahn station. A first train was standing on the station platform to the south and drove straight on.
