Wilhelmsburg station
The station Hamburg- William Castle is a former rail yard and now an S-Bahn train station in the district of Hamburg Hamburg Wilhelm castle. He has covered the middle platform and a reception building. The platform can be reached by elevator. The marshalling yard was dissolved after the operation opening of the marshalling yard in stitches.
History
Railway lines
Through the station lead four double-track railway lines:

- Southern freight train bypass mesh -Hamburg- Bill Werder (1280 )
- S- Bahn Hamburg Hbf - Neugraben (1271 )
The S-Bahn is connected to the parallel freight rail bypass by an over- control center. At the junction Süderelbbrücken the harbor station Hamburg Hohe Schaar is connected using a wye to the freight line mesh Hamburg Süd. In the station several ports of the Hamburg port railway branch from, inter alia, to Peute.
Marshalling yard
The marshalling yard was built by the Prussian state railways after the opening of the Hamburg free port in October 1888 in the following two years. He joined the Hamburg port railway stations with the railroad tracks to the Ruhr area as well as central and southern Germany. Redesign
