Ellen Drew
Ellen Drew, actually Esther Loretta Ray ( born November 23, 1915 in Kansas City, Missouri, † December 3, 2003 in Palm Desert, California ) was an American actress.
Ellen Drew worked in various jobs and won several beauty pageants before she became an actress. She went to Hollywood and worked as selling ice cream. There she was discovered by actor William Demarest. In 1938 she was awarded a contract with Paramount Pictures. In 1944 she moved to RKO. From the 1950s she played for television. Your last television work was published in 1961 in an episode of The Barbara Stanwyck Show.
She was married four times, among others, with screenwriter Sy Bartlett.
