Emiliano Dudar

Emiliano Ariel Dudar ( born August 12, 1981 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player. He plays in defense, usually on the position of a center-back or sweeper. Before he returned to Switzerland in 2013, he played for DC United in Washington in the North American Major League Soccer. In the 2013/14 season, he plays for FC Sion.

In a collision with his teammate François Affolter in the championship game of the BSC Young Boys in the 8th round 12 September 2010 against FC Basel Dudar was severely wounded in the face. He lost consciousness and remained for several minutes motionless on the artificial turf. Still on the pitch he had required medical care. He was treated for four weeks at the Inselspital, but was then able to leave the hospital without permanent damage and then ran again for YB with a head protection.

After he was no longer considered by the new coach, Christian Gross, in the first round of the 2011/2012 season, Dudar changed in January 2012 to DC United.

In 2013 he returned to FC Chiasso back in the Challenge League, before he at FC Sion signed a one-year contract in the summer transfer window of 2013.
