Erpužice

Erpužice ( German Welperschitz ) is a municipality with 341 inhabitants ( 1 January 2004) in the Czech Republic. It is located 7 km northeast of Stříbro at an altitude of 460 m asl

The place is located on the railway line from Pňovany after Bezdruzice. To the south of the district Malovice a recreation area begins around the elongated reservoir Hracholusky in which Mies is jammed.

History

The first mention of the town dates back to 1175 when Duke Soběslav II the monastery Plasy several site, including Crposiz left. Later, the village came back to worldly possessions, 1329 Sulco de Erposicz was Juvenis the landlord. Since 1395 it belonged to the family Habard that since the 15th century Busconis de Hradek ( Bušek Hradek ) called themselves. The Lords of Hradek united at the beginning of the 17th century, the basic rule with the in Trpísty. From 1938 to 1945, the village belonged to the district of Mies. 1939 187 people lived in the place.

Attractions

Most important monument is located in the center of the village parish church of St. Margaret, whose onion tower is visible from afar.

Airfield

On the small square near the village, not public inland airfield ( PEOPLES ) of the Aero Club Erpužice offered sightseeing flights. It is also possible for parachuting on this airfield during Vojenský Para Club Erpužice.

The municipality Erpužice the districts Blahousti include ( Blahussen ) and Malovice ( Malovice ).
