Étienne Daho ( born January 14, 1956 in Oran, Algeria) is a well known and successful pop singer in France.

Life

Étienne Daho lives in Oran in Algeria, where alternated his carefree life by the sea with war experiences up to the age of eight. Leaving his father, he spends many months under artillery fire before it comes to Rennes in France in September 1964 and spent his youth there. The passion for music is triggered by the acquisition of two plates: The Velvet Underground and Nico, and the first album of Pink Floyd ( The Piper at the Gates of Dawn ) that makes him discover Syd Barrett.
