European Team Championships

The track and field team championship (English / sponsors name: SPAR European Team Championships ) is a United Nations competition, which is held as follow-up event of the Athletics European Cup since 2009. The first issue of the Super League was held in Leiria Portugal on 20 and 21 June 2009. At the same time took place the 1st League in Bergen, the second league in Banská Bystrica and the 3rd Liga in Sarajevo. Team became European Champion in the German team won silver Russia, bronze went to the United Kingdom.

Structure

The Team Championship is divided into four leagues: the Super League, 1st, 2nd and 3rd league. The Super League and the first league composed of twelve nations in 2009, the second of eight league and the 3rd Liga from 14 nations.
