Evanescence

Evanescence [ ɛvənɛsəns ] (English from Latin evanescere: " dwindle " ) is an American alternative rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Career

The group was of the lead singer, pianist and songwriter Amy Hartzler (born Amy Lee) and Ben Moody founded. They met each other at a youth camp in Arkansas know where Moody heard Lee playing the song I'd Do Anything for Love by Meat Loaf on the piano.
