Evgenij Miroshnichenko

Yevhen Miroschnytschenko ( notation at the World Chess Federation FIDE: Evgenij Miroshnichenko, born December 28, 1978 in Donetsk ) is a Ukrainian chess player. Since 2002, he has the title of chess grandmaster.

In 1999, he shared in Capelle -la -Grande the first place with Simen Agdestein, who won after fine classification. In August 2003, he won the tournament Star Palmira, 2003 in Odessa. In November 2003 he was Ukrainian singles champion in Simferopol. In December 2003, he won a tournament in Tanta Egypt, in November 2004, the second Neuburger Open in Freiburg -Neuburg. In September 2005 and again in October 2006 Miroschnytschenko won the Open in Izmir Izmir. In February 2006 he won with 9 points from 9 games the 2nd International Master Tournament in Bruges. When Capelle la Grande tournament in March 2007, he was again tied second, this time behind Wang Yue. In December 2008, he repeated his success of 2003 and was in Poltava Ukrainian national champion. The Masters Tournament in Bruges, he won again in December 2008, this time with 7.5 and 1.5 from 8 points ahead. In July 2009 he won the 1st Artemis Cup on the Greek island of Leros.

In Ukraine he used to play for the club ShK Alexander Momot. He is currently playing (2009) for Keystone Kiev, the Ukrainian team champion in 2007, 2008 and 2009 (from 2008 renamed PVK Kievchess ). In the Belgian championship, he plays for Bredene, in the German Chess Bundesliga he played for the chess enthusiasts Berlin in 1903, starting from the season 2007/ 08 for the SC Remagen and in the Austrian Bundesliga for 1 ASVÖ Wulkaprodersdorf. He also played in the Russian, Turkish, Spanish, Romanian, Arabic, French ( Marseille Duchamp ), Greek ( for ES Thessaloniki, the runner-up 2008), Serbia ( Belgrade Beopublikum, the runner-up in 2009 ) and Iceland (for the Hellir Chess Club ) team championship.

His current Elo rating is 2686 (as of January 2010). With its highest ever Elo rating of 2696 he was in July 2009 at the 37th FIDE World Ranking.
