Ezekiel Alebua

Ezekiel Alebua (* 1947) was from 1 December 1986 to December 1, 1989 Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands.

Alebua was foreign minister of his country's 1981 until 1982. From 1998 to 2003 he was governor of the province of Guadalcanal. Some people resented him that he did not support the independence movement of the province. He was injured in an assassination attempt on 1 June 2001. During his time in national politics he was a member of the Solomon Islands United Party.
