Fabiana Murer

Fabiana Murer de Almeida ( born March 16, 1981 in Campinas ) is a Brazilian athlete and the reigning record holder in the pole vault South America.

Fabiana Murer in 1999 Ninth Pan-American Games, in 2000 she won at the Junior World Championships in tenth place. In 2003, she crossed the first time the height of four meters. At the World Indoor Championships 2008 Murer increased its South American indoor record of 4.70 m and was together with Monika Pyrek third behind Yelena Isinbayeva and Jennifer Stuczynski. June 29, 2008 Fabiana Murer improved in São Paulo to South America record to 4.80 m.

At the 2011 World Championships in Daegu she was with a new South American record of 4.85 m World Champion. In London was for them but at the Olympic Games already in the qualifying final destination. 2013, it was at the World Championships in Moscow with 4.65 m sixth.

Fabiana Murer has a competition weight of 64 kg at a height of 1.72 m. She is a trained physiotherapist.
