Fatima Silva

Fatima Silva ( born May 6, 1970) is a former Portuguese long- distance runner who specialized in the marathon distance.

Career

First, Silva was also successful in the medium range. 1996 and 1997 she was Portuguese Hall champion in 1500 -meter run, 1996 and 1998 in the 3000 -meter run. Soon, however, she switched to the longer distances. From 1999 to 2008 Silva won every year except 2003, the Portuguese championships in the marathon, each of which was held within the framework of the Lisbon Marathon. Five times they cashed the Appreciation of the marathon.

In international championships Silva could not achieve comparable results.
