FIBT World Championships 1957
The 16th Bob World Cup was held from 2 to 10 February 1957 in St. Moritz in Switzerland. World champion in the two- were the Italians Eugenio Monti and Renzo Alverà that Viererbobkonkurrenz won the Bob Switzerland I.

Date: February 3, 1957 This is still the only medal won Spain at a bobsled World Cup. Marques Alfonso de Portago crashed fatally in the same year with a Ferrari in the car race Mille Miglia in Italy.
