FIBT World Championships 2008
The 55th Bob World Cup was held from 11 to 24 February 2008 at the bobsleigh track in Altenberg Altenberg, Germany. It was held parallel to the Skeleton World Cup 2008.

The teams consisted of one male and one female skeleton pilots as well as one male and one female Zweierbobteam. First launched the male skeleton pilot, then the Frauenbobteam, after which the female skeleton pilot and as a conclusion the bobsleigh team of men. Only one run was extended each which adds four individual runs for an overall result.
