Fienstedt is a place of unity in the community Salzatal Saale district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).
Until the formation of the unified community Salzatal on 1 January 2010 Fienstedt was an independent municipality in the administrative community Western Saalkreis. Last mayor Fienstedts was Uwe Thomas.
Geography
Fienstedt is about 10 km northwest of Halle ( Saale). Northeast of the village is situated on the Saale, the deserted village of consecration.
