Filip Riska

Filip Riska ( born March 13, 1985 in Jakobstad ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since 2008 at JYP Jyväskylä in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Filip Riska began his career as a hockey player with Vaasan sports, for which he was active in the Mestis, the Finnish second league in the season 2003/ 04. Then, the attacker moved to JYP Jyvaskyla of the SM- liiga, for which he played the following two seasons. As he there initially could not prevail, he returned in the summer of 2006 back to his former club Vaasan Sport, with whom he was third in 2007 in the Mestis. After Riska was able to convince in the second division, he was arrested again in summer 2008 JYP Jyväskylä under contract by which he was first in the 2008 /09 season in his career Finnish Champion. In the championship season, the attacker scored seven points scorer, including five goals for JYP.

Internationally

For Finland Riska took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2005.
