Finland's Bandy Association
The Bandyverband Finland (Finnish: Suomen Jääpalloliitto, SJPL; Swedish: Finlands Bandyförbund, FBYF ) is the national Bandyverband in Finland. It was founded in 1972 and is a member of Bandy 's world governing body, the Federation of International Bandy (FIB ).
History
The Bandyverband Finland was founded on 18 March 1972. Prior to the organization of the Bandys was the object of the Football Association Suomen Palloliitto (SPL ) in Finland. The SPL 1955 was a founding member of the World Federation FIB.
The Association advised the World Championships in 1975, 1983, 1991 and 2001 (along with Sweden) from. In addition, Finland was before the founding of SJPL also host the first World Cup in 1957 and the World Cup 1967. Finland In 2004, the first World Championships for Women from.
