Firestarter (The Prodigy song)

Firestarter is a song by English big beat band The Prodigy.

He appeared on 18 March 1996 as the first single release of the album The Fat of the Land. Overall, this was the eleventh single by the band's history. The song was the first major international success of The Prodigy Keith Flint and presented for the first time as a punk frontman of the band to the forefront.

Background

The track used, among other samples from SOS by the American indie rock band The Breeders and Close ( to the Edit) by Art of Noise.

The black-and- white -held video was produced by Walter Stern and recorded in the abandoned subway station Aldwych.
