FK Bodø/Glimt
The F.K. Bodø / Glimt is a football club from the northern Norwegian town of Bodø, in the second-rate Adecco Ligaen goes to the start of the season 2011. His achievements are winning the Norwegian Cup in 1975 and 1993 and three second places in the championship.
History
The club was founded in 1916 under the name Fotballklubben Glimt and was one of the most successful clubs in the north of Norway since the 1920s. After the opening of the Norwegian Cup for clubs from the North (1963 ) succeeded in 1975, the first Cup victory with a 2-0 playoff victory against Vard Haugesund. Bodø / Glimt 1976 was also the first northern Norwegian club which could occurred after the 1973 opening of the Norwegian league for teams from the North of the country in the top flight, the first Divisjon ascend. In the first year the team was runner-up. After four years of excellence Bodø / Glimt rose in 1980 from back in the 1980s, the club played at times only mediocre. Only in 1992 succeeded in re- promotion to the top division, a year later Bodø / Glimt won for the second time the Norwegian Cup with a 2-0 win in the final against Strømsgodset IF. The team was twice, 1996 and 2003 in the league runner-up. The 2005 season, she finished in last place and got so after 13 years of excellence from the Adecco Ligaen. In the 2007 season the back in the Bundesliga. After a good 4th place in 2008, the club in 2009 had to play the new gear in the second division last but one.

Bodø / Glimt previously took part in six European cup competitions; one each three times a Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Cup; last 2004. greatest successes were each reaching the second round (1978, 1994, 1999, 2004) and a 3-2 home win over Sampdoria on 15 September 1994.
