Football Association of Montenegro

Fudbalski savez Crne Gore (abbreviation: FSCG, German: Football Association of Montenegro) is the name for the Football Association of the Southeast European country Montenegro.

History

The association was ( German: Cetinjer Football sublattice ) on March 8, 1931 in Cetinje as Cetinjski Nogometni podsavez founded. He was thus the regional sub-organization of the Yugoslav Football Association. After the Second World War, the Association was formed on August 5, 1945 under its current name new. It was further part of the Yugoslav federation Football Association, which in 2003 to reflect the new name of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro in Fudbalski Savez Srbije i Crne Gore ( German: Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro) is renamed. With the attainment of complete state independence of Montenegro in June 2006, the FSCG founded on 28 June 2006 as an independent football organization in the country. On 27 January 2007 he was admitted to the UEFA, the admission to FIFA on 31 May 2007, Congress of the World Federation in Zurich.

President of the Football Association is currently the former world-class soccer player Dejan Savićević.

Organization

From FSCG be organized:

  • The international matches of the Montenegrin national team including those of the youth national teams
  • The implementation of the Montenegrin football championship, which is played in two leagues, each with twelve teams and
  • The football cup competition.

There are no women's team.
