Frederick Henry (bishop)

Frederick Bernard Henry ( born April 11, 1943 in London) is the Bishop of Calgary.

Life

Frederick Bernard Henry received on 25 May 1968, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 18 April 1986 in London and appointed him titular bishop of Carinola. He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of London, John Michael Sherlock, on 24 June of the same year; Were co-consecrators Marcel André J. Gervais, Archbishop of Ottawa, and Anthony Frederick Tonnos, Bishop of Hamilton.

On 24 March 1995 he was appointed Bishop of Thunder Bay and introduced into the office on 11 May of the same year. On January 19, 1998, he was appointed Bishop of Calgary and introduced into the office on March 19 of the same year.
