Fryčovice

Fryčovice ( German Fritz village) is a village in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers west of Frýdek- Místek and belongs to Okres Frýdek- Místek.

Geography

The Waldhufendorf Fryčovice extends to a length of four kilometers on either side of Ondřejnice in Beskidenvorland. To the west rises the Sovinec (354 m, Fritz villages mountain). South of the village the e 462/Staatsstraße 48 extends between Příbor and Frýdek- Místek.

Neighboring towns are Brušperk and Ptáčník in the north, Staříč in the northeast, Chlebovice in the east, in the southeast Krnalovice, Rychaltice in the south, Hájov, Příbor and Klokočov the southwest, Kateřinice in the west and Trnavka and Chabicov in the northwest.

History

After the Olomouc Bishop Bruno of castle had acquired by 1255 the castle Hochwald by Frank Hückeswagen, he had the great forests of the rule Hochwald colonize by German colonists. Between 1258 and 1267 the bishop was named after his locator Fritz Fritz village as village after the pattern of Franconian villages to create. Was first documented in 1267 in the village Fritz Testamentus Brunnonis in the course of the appointment of four new canons to the Olomouc Cathedral, which he left 60 hooves of the place. 1270 transferred the bishop of the place Magdeburg Law.

Since the mid-14th century, the parish church is detectable. Through the village led the connection path of high forest to Brown Mountain. At the beginning of the 18th century was the village of 181 houses and had 1197 inhabitants. 1775 originated in the village of its own parish school until then, the children were taught in Brown Mountain. During the reign of Joseph II was built on the church goods 1789, the settlement Ptáčník.

Until the abolition of patrimonial the place that was called during its history as Vreccendorf, Fritsch village, Fritschowitz and Fryčovice, as part of the rule timber forest owned by the Olomouc bishops remained. The inhabitants lived from agriculture and the water power of the Ondřejnice was used to power mills.

From 1850 formed Fryčovice a municipality in the district Místek. 1950 Ptáčník was incorporated. Since 1961 Fryčovice belongs to Okres Frýdek- Místek.

The municipality consists of the villages Fryčovice Fryčovice ( Fritzdorf ) and Ptáčník ( Ptacznik ).
