Malenovice

Malenovice ( German Malenowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers east of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and belongs to Okres Frýdek- Místek.

Geography

Malenovice is located on the right side of Ostravice in the valley of the brook Sibudov at the foot of the Moravian- Silesian Beskids. The municipality is situated mostly in the area of the nature reserve Beskids. To the east rise the Tanečnice (820 m), Kyčera (906 m) and the Kykulka ( 995 m). To the southeast is located below the Lysa hora the Valley of the Satina waterfalls.

Neighboring towns are Bystré in the north, Husinec in the northeast, Krasna to the east, and Ostravice Nová Dědina in the south, Nová Ves in the southwest, and Borová Paseky in the west and Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and Lubno in the northwest.

History

Owned by the rule Friedeck village Malinov was created in 1610 by John of Vrbno and Freudenthal east side of the place Neudorf. It takes its name from the large deposits of raspberry bushes. Eusebius, Count of Oppersdorff on Friedeck was built in 1640 on the crest Borová a church. Main occupation was the agriculture, but the stony soils were low yields.

1799 mining was recorded on iron ore, which has been set to 1895 due to the low iron content of 25 % due Unrentabilät.

After the abolition of patrimonial Malenowitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Teschen, from 1908 it belonged to the district Friedeck / Frýdek. In the 20th century, the village lost by the onset of rural-urban migration a large part of its inhabitants. In 1950, the municipality in the Okres FRENŠTÁT pod Radhoštěm was reclassified and after its dissolution in 1961 it belongs to the Okres Frýdek- Místek. 1980 Malenovice lost its independence and was under the name Frýdlant nad Ostravicí 7- Malenovice to the hamlet of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. Since 1990, the community is Malenovice again.

  • Church of Sts. Ignatius of Loyola on the Borová, built 1640th The church was until 1780 a branch church of the Mining oak wood and in 1784 a parish church. The parish included the Beskidensiedlungen up to the Hungarian border.

  • The stone grave mound Ivančena, on the ridge between the mountains and Kykulka Malchor, created in 1946 by a scout troop from Moravian Ostrava in memory of 18 comrades who were killed during the Second World War. The 12 -meter-long grave mound was implemented in 1966 and later consecrated by Bishop František Václav Lobkowicz.
