Geert Hammink

Geert Hendrik Hammink ( born July 12, 1969 in Didam ) is a former Dutch professional basketball player who has been in the U.S. NBA, German Basketball Bundesliga Greek A1 Ethniki and briefly played in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A. After his active career as a player agent Hammink works and is active in the management of the Agency.

College and NBA

Hammink played on the position of the center. During his time at Louisiana State University, he served as a reserve of the later world-famous NBA stars Shaquille O'Neal. It was only in his last year of college in 1993 as a senior, where Shaq already at Orlando Magic played in the NBA, he received more playing time and was associated with an average of 15.3 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game best points scorer and rebounder his team. The following NBA Draft, he was just selected in the first round of O'Neal's club Orlando. He made a short trip to Italy, where he could not prevent the descent of Cantù.
