Geir Skeie

Geir Skeie ( born July 2, 1980 in Fitjar ) is a Norwegian chef.

Life

Skeie runs two restaurants, both Brygga 11 mean in Sandefjord and Leirvik. Previously he worked as a chef at the Mathuset Midtåsen Solvold in Sandefjord, which belongs to the Bocuse d'Or -winner Odd Ivar Solvold. He also worked in the restaurants Le Canard, Solsiden and Grill Palace in Oslo and Skogstad hotel in Hemsedal.

Geir Skeie the Bocuse d'Or went to the task, as he saw Bent Stiansen 1993 on television, the first Norwegian who won this competition. For the competition of Odd Ivar Skeie Solvold was trained. With 1020 points Skeie also had a sizable lead over the second-placed Sweden's Jonas Lundgren.
