George Bennett (cyclist)

George Bennett ( born April 7, 1990 in Nelson) is a New Zealand racing cyclist.

Bennett succeeded in 2010, each a stage win at the Tour of Vineyards, the Tour of Tasmania and the Bechmark Homes Tour. In addition, he was able to place each among the top 10 in the overall standings of the Tour of Wellington and the Ronde de l' Isard. For the 2011 season the team was professional Bennett Trek Livestrong U23 and drove at the end of the season as a stagiaire for Team RadioShack. In the same season he won the overall title at the Tour of Wellington for himself and took in the final standings of the Ronde de l' Isard second place. In addition, he finished third overall in the UCI Oceania Tour. For the 2012 season joined Bennett for Team RadioShack - Nissan.
