Georges de la Falaise

Louis Verrant Gabriel " Georges " Le Bailly de la Falaise ( born March 24, 1866 in Luçon, † April 8, 1910 in Paris) was a French epee and saber fencer.

Georges de la Falaise participated in the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and won the gold medal in saber individual, in épée individual and with the epee team, he came fourth. At the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens he won the gold medal in the epee team and individual epee. In saber individual he was fourth. De la Falaise went to the Olympic Summer Games 1908 in London. There he was in saber - seventh single, with the saber team he finished fourth.

He is the grandfather of Loulou de la Falaise.
