Georgia Moffett

Georgia Elizabeth Moffett ( born December 25, 1984 in London) is a British actress. She starred in several British television series, including The Bill, Doctor Who and Merlin - The new adventures.

Life

Georgia Moffett is the daughter of actors Peter Davison (actually Peter Moffett ) and Sandra Dickinson. She attended St Edward 's School in Oxford. In 2002, she brought the age of 17 years to a son.

Since 2008 she has been romantically involved with the then Doctor Who actor David Tennant and married since December 2011. The two have a daughter (* March 2011).

Career

Her first role as an actress she was in the television series Peak Practice at the age of 14 years. This was followed by roles in several television series and television movies. In 2007 she starred in an episode of The Last Detective, where her father Peter Davison plays the main role. That same year she played one more time with him, in the television miniseries Fear, Stress And Anger.

In 2008, she played the daughter of the title character of the legendary British science fiction series Doctor Who alongside David Tennant. Her father had become known in the role of the Doctor, he had played from 1981 to 1984. In the same year was followed by a role in the first season of the BBC Three series Spooks: Code 9, 2009, she then played in two episodes of the 24th season of the series Casualty with doctor after she had worked there in a sequence already once in 2007.

Also in 2009, she took a speaking role in the Doctor Who animated series Dreamland, which was released on BBC One and the Doctor Who site. In it she speaks the role of Cassie Rice, a companion of the Doctor.

Their theater debut in March 2007 in the role of Mathilde Verlaine in the performance of Christopher Hampton's Total Eclipse in the Menier Chocolate Factory. From 17 to 20 June 2010, she played the role of Leila in the play Hens directed by Peter Gill. The play was performed in London's Riverside Studios, and in the series Sky Arts Playhouse: Live broadcast from the division's television channel Sky Arts.

Since 2011 she has been seen in the BBC comedy series White Van Man as Emma.
