Gettin 'Over is an electro-house, rap and pop song by French DJ David Guetta and U.S. singer Chris Willis from Guetta's fourth studio album One Love. A remix version titled Gettin ' Over You was released as the fifth single from the album on 12 April 2010 worldwide. This version includes additional vocals and rap by Fergie and the American electric -hop duo LMFAO. The track became a number -one hit in France, Great Britain and the U.S. dance charts. It reached the Top 5 in Italy, New Zealand, Austria, Ireland and Australia.

Gettin 'Over You was written by Chris Willis, Will.i.am, Fergie and LMFAO. In an interview with Digital Spy David Guetta said of the song "He's one of my many guitars like Club Songs -. , The song is the perfect successor to Love Is Gone " According Guetta originally wanted the Black Eyed Peas to record the song for one of their albums, what Guetta but refused. Guetta said, " Even after I had refused to leave the song the Peas, Fergie was still saying, " I love this song! " So I said, " If you still want the song, we'll do it together. " I wanted to keep Chris Willis on the song because I work with him for many years and the beginning of my career together. [ ... ] He is the best singer in the world. "
Red Foo from LMFAO said to MTV News about the content of the song: "You 're in love with a girl, she wants a relationship with Lil Jon or anyone else. So I make a hot party to the dream man stops by. "
Criticism
Robert Copsey of Digital Spy gave the song three out of five stars. He said, Guetta had the " neglected rap part of the group LMFAO. " Chris Willis ' vocals were praised by Entertainment Weekly: " Willis has the special in his voice and he makes sure that the song reaches its optimum mood and then the fans will love it ." Female First ' stated that " Gettin' Over You " is a " huge summer anthem " and that gave the song 4 out of 5 stars.
Music Video
The music video was shot on 20 April 2010, was directed by Rich Lee, who had already shot music video with Fergie Black Eyed Peas. The music video was produce its world premiere on Thursday 18 May 2010. In the video you can see how David Guetta, Chris Willis, Fergie and LMFAO song together. Suddenly a dancing crowd flows into the studio and the recording session is going to a party in the studio. According Guetta plays the video on the recordings for the Black Eyed Peas song "I Gotta Feeling " on where Guetta was involved as a producer.
