Giuseppe Casale

Giuseppe Casale ( born September 28, 1923 in Trani, Province of Barletta -Andria -Trani, Italy) is an emeritus Archbishop of Foggia - Bovino.

Life

Giuseppe Casale received on 3 February 1946, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on October 26, 1974 Bishop of Vallo della Lucania. He received his episcopal consecration of the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, Cardinal Sebastiano Baggio on 8 December of the same year; Co-consecrators were Gaetano Pollio PIME, Archbishop of Salerno- Acerno and Bishop of Campagna, and Giuseppe Carata, Archbishop of Trani Barletta e e e Bisceglie Nazareth.

On May 7, 1988, Pope John Paul II appointed Archbishop of Foggia - Bovino and adopted on 27 May 1999 be on the grounds of age pre- mounted resignation.
