GÅ“rsdorf

Gœrsdorf ( German Görsdorf ) is a commune with 1132 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region.

Policy

Gœrsdorf is a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes Sauer -Pechelbronn since 21 December 2001. Today's church was established on 1 January 1973 through the merger with the neighboring community Mitschdorf. This village is situated on the road between Gœrsdorf and Preuschdorf.

Geography

Direct neighboring municipalities are Preuschdorf and Wœrth. The forest which flanks the municipal area in the north, called Forêt de Gœrsdorf. Otherwise, the landscape is dominated by agriculture. Part of the municipality is part of a biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest - Vosges du Nord, a natural park in the Palatinate Forest and the Vosges du Nord.
