Greg de Vries ( born January 4, 1973 in Sundridge, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player on the position of the defender, who during his career, including for the Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators, Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators and Atlanta Thrashers in the National Hockey League played.

Career

Greg de Vries was never drafted by a team, but he made ​​the jump to the NHL as it undertook in 1994 the Edmonton Oilers. In the season 1995/96 he played his first NHL game for the Oilers. His greatest achievement is winning the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 2001.
