Grete Gaim
Grete Gaim ( born May 21, 1993 Tartu) is an Estonian biathlete.
Grete Gaim made her international debut in the Junior World Championships 2010 in Torsby where they 63 and 48 of the Single Page the sprint was the pursuit race she did not finish. With the season she was tenth. It was followed by the junior race at the European Championships in Otepaeae where the Estin was 45th of the Single Page, 34 of the 42 sprints and persecution. A year later, Gaim was at the Junior World Cup in Nove Mesto na Moravě 50 of the Single Page, 19, of the sprint, pursuit and 18 with Johanna Talihärm and Daria Yurlova sixth in the relay competition. At the same place she took in the rest of the year also participated in the junior race of the Summer Biathlon World Championships in 2011 and came in the sprint on the 18th, in the pursuit race to 17th place.
To kick off the 2011/12 season Gaim started in Östersund in the context of the IBU Cup in their first race in the power range and was 51 of the sprint. There was at the same place a week later the debut in the World Cup. The Estin was in her first sprint 81. Nové Město na In Moravě they could achieve their best result so far in the top racing series with a 75th place in the sprint. With the season a 14th place at the side of Kristel Viigipuu, Daria Yurlova and Johanna Talihärm in Oberhof was the best ever result. The European Championships 2012 in Osrblie were their first international championship for women. With 16th place in the sprint Gaim reached one of the best finishes of an Estonian biathlete in a top international races. In Pursuit they no longer went to.
My biggest achievement to date is the gold medal in the pursuit at the Junior World Championships, which were held in February 2012 in the Finnish Kontiolahti. The victory was surprising since she had gone to the previous sprint, in which she had occupied the tenth place, with a gap of 1:12 min into the race. To kick off the 2013/14 season they won for the first time in Ostersund in a single as the 39th World Cup points.
