Guam national football team

The guamische national football team is the national team of the Pacific U.S. foreign territory Guam.

Guam is both a member of the world football governing body FIFA and the regional association AFC and therefore takes part in the qualifying matches for the Football World Cup and the AFC Asian Cup, although it is politically part of the United States of America.

The Guamische national team has had to leave the role as underdog in Asian football. The 0:21 against North Korea on 11 March 2005 is the heaviest defeat an Asian team. Overall, Guam has ten games in his statistics, where the opponent scored at least 14 goals. Against any other team were able to achieve their highest victory over other teams. A total of 12 teams achieved this against Guam, of which nine times in double digits. The national team has won their first official FIFA international match in 2009 and is currently ranked 177 by FIFA World Rankings (as of August 8, 2013 ).
