The Guldensporenstadion ( German Golden Spurs Stadium ) is a city own football stadium in the Belgian city of Kortrijk, West Flanders in the Flemish Region. The name goes back to the golden spurs battle of Kortrijk in 1302 between Flanders and France.

Shortly after the Second World War on May 10, 1946 it was decided to demolish the dilapidated grandstand in Kortrijk and to build a new stadium. Understandably, it was difficult to raise the money and building materials in The Times. So it was a lot of voluntary work and donations. The engineer Maurice Delahousse by the engineering firm Stabilis NV designed the stadium. Then the brothers Vanhee were responsible for the construction work. The construction costed 2 million fr (now converted about 50,000 € ) and lasted for about 15 months. Mid August 1947 we celebrated the opening of the sports facility.

In January 1988, the old viewers rank was demolished and replaced by a new stand. This was a result of the disaster at Heysel in May 1985; whereupon raising safety standards in Belgian stadiums. On 17 August 1988, the new main stand was opened; then began the construction of the other three bleachers. The cost of for 72 million, divided the city (55 million fr) and the association (17 million fr). After that, the stadium had a capacity of 15,000 seats.

Over the years, the space of the sports facility fell. It had to stand behind are closed for concrete cancer and so the venue offered only 6,896 places. In 2008 the plant was then renovated.

The stadium is now offering to four roofed grandstands 9,399 courts ( 5,749 seats).
