The Regenboogstadion is a multi-purpose stadium with track and field facility in Waregem, Belgium. Waregem is in the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region. In 1957, the UCI Road World Championships took place in Waregem and the stadium was the destination. Therefore also the stadium name is derived from: The winner of the World Cup gets the rainbow jersey.

The opening of the arena took place in 1957. The stadium now consists of the two grandstands along the game field. Previously, the standing room were used in the curves; after promotion to the First Division in 2005 but they were closed and erected walls with billboards. The floodlight is integrated into the roofs of the spectator stands. The stadium seated up to 20,000 spectators seats.

Today, the two double-decker grandstands offer about 8,500 places.

  • Grandstand: In the upper part approximately 3300 seats in the lower tier and 1300 standing room and 369 business seats
  • Opposite stand: In the upper tier 2400 seat and in the lower tier approx 500 standing and 950 uncovered standing next to the grandstand.

For a few years there are plans the sports facility with a complete renovation in a multifunctional football stadium remodel. The start of construction is scheduled for 2012. The capacity will initially be at 12500-13500 courts, if necessary, the system can be extended to 17000-20000 places. The construction is funded by the town of Waregem, and some entrepreneurs. At the sports complex are still apartments, a hotel, a shopping center and leisure facilities such as fitness center and bowling alley. Construction will take place in several stages and be completed around 2013 or 2014.
