György Garics (2013 )

György " Gyuri " Garics [ ɟørɟ gɒriʧ ] ( born March 8, 1984 in Szombathely, Hungary) is an Austrian football player. He plays in the Italian Serie A for Bologna FC.

Career

The Hungarian-born Garics moved as a 14- year-old from Szombathely to Vienna to join the Rapid offspring. At the same time he was enrolled in the Vienna School ORG cooperation Maroltingergasse on which he passed the Matura with " distinction ". At the age of 17 years Garics changed from the young to the rapid amateurs. Just one day after his naturalization, he played in the Austrian U-21 national team.

His debut for SK Rapid Wien Garics graduated at age 18 in September 2002 under coach Josef Hickersberger. He was with Rapid Austrian champion, in the summer of 2006 was initially negotiated with the Torino about a change, but ultimately did not materialize in 2005. On August 29, 2006, he nevertheless moved to a transfer fee of 700,000 euros for SSC Napoli in Italy's Serie B.
