Hakan Arıkan

Hakan Arıkan ( born August 17, 1982 in Karamürsel ) is a Turkish football player. Currently plays the goalkeeper for Antalyaspor.

Career

Club career

His career began at Arıkan Petkimspor. In 2001 he came to the youth team of Kocaelispor, for which he also made ​​his debut in the first team in 2002. For four years he was in 110 league games in goal and then moved to the capital club Ankaraspor. Two seasons, he was a fixture in the team and has been for a strong season 2006/2007 obligation of Beşiktaş Istanbul. During the 2010/11 season Arıkan was under criticism and was only third-choice goalkeeper for Beşiktaş. Then he moved to the 2011/12 season free transfer to newly promoted Mersin Idman Yurdu. Here was he conquered early in the season a regular place and managed to return to the Turkish national football team. Against mid-season he lost his place and came only occasionally to the end of the season for use.

After his contract expires at the end of the season he left Mersin IY and agreed for the next two seasons with the first division club Antalyaspor.

National team career

His debut for the Turkish national team was Arıkan on 5 June 2007 at the Westfalen stadium against Brazil. In National Dress it divides the items in the gate with Volkan Demirel vonFenerbahçe.
