Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf

Halen -Rohlsdorf is a municipality in the district of Prignitz (Brandenburg).

Geography

The community is located approximately 16 kilometers northeast of the town of Pritzwalk and about 16 km northwest of Wittstock / Dosse in the northeast of the county Prignitz. In the municipality entspring the river Dömnitz. The surveys in the municipal area in the northwest reach heights of over 150 meters above sea level. NN.

History

The municipality was created on 31 December 2001, from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Halen Beck and Rohlsdorf.

The municipal council of Halen -Rohlsdorf consists of six individual candidates and the honorary mayor.

Transport links

To the south of the municipality runs the A 24 you can be reached via the connections Putlitzstrasse and Meyenburg. The B 103 runs west of the municipality. Bruges train station ( Prign ) lies on the railway line Meyenburg Neustadt ( Dosse).

In the hamlet of Bruges is located a stone church from the 19th century, which is considered as a first work of the Prussian architect Reinhold Persius.
