Geography
By Gerdshagen the Kümmernitz, one of the inlets of the Dömnitz flows. By damming of this brook was built in the 1990s, the Preddöhler reservoir between the municipalities Gerdshagen and Preddöhl.
Community structure
The place is next to Gerdshagen from local parts Giese Hagen ( with living space New Giese Hagen), Rapshagen and Struck.
The second ordinance repealing of enclaves in Brandenburg July 1, 2000 was the inclusion of the hitherto to Meyenburg associated district Struck and the Black Halen to Beck corresponding district Kampe after Gerdshagen.
