Weisen

Ways is a municipality in the southwest of the district Prignitz in Brandenburg. The town's name comes from the Polabischen and means " place grows on the reeds / sedge ".

Geography

Geographical Location

Ways lies between the towns of Mount Pearl and Wittenberg on the lower reaches of the Stepenitz. The community wise is part of the Office Bad Wilsnack / ways. Since 1 May 1973, the former municipality belongs to shields ways.
