The Office Bad Wilsnack / ways based in the town of Bad Wilsnack is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, in the first nine towns in the former district of Pearl Mountain (now Prignitz, Brandenburg ) were combined into an administrative group. By incorporations and municipal mergers, the number of official member municipalities has been reduced to five.
Geographical location
The Office is located in the south of the county Prignitz in Brandenburg ( Germany ), and borders the city of Wittenberg in the west, to the north by the town of Pearl Mountain, on the community board castle in the east, as well as to the State of Saxony -Anhalt in the south.

The Office Bad Wilsnack - ways presently consists of five official member municipalities:
- Bad Wilsnack ( City) with the local community or parts of Great Lüben, pit - Sigrön -, hair, Jakel, Karthan, Small Lüben and Scharleuk
- Breese and the district of Gross Breese, the inhabited part of municipality Kuhblank and the two living spaces expand and Buutendörp
- Legde / Quitzöbel with the local council or local parts Legde, Lenne joke Roddan and Quitzöbel
- Rühstädt with the local council or local parts Abbendorf, Bälow and Gnevsdorf
- Ways with the district Shields
History
The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued the formation of the Office Bad Wilsnack / ways on July 27, 1992 ( with effect from August 1, 1992) his consent. The office was located in Bad Wilsnack and initially consisted of the following communes:
The community Bentwisch was incorporated on December 1, 1997, the city Wittenberg. As of 31 December 2001, the municipality pit was incorporated into the municipality of Bad Wilsnack. On 31 March 2002, the municipalities Legde and Quitzöbel formed the new congregation Legde / Quitzöbel. On 26 October 2003, the town of Gross Breese was incorporated into the municipality of Breese.
